Day 1 LONDON.

 

Arrive at Heathrow airport. Our representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the surroundings.

Day 2. LONDON.

 

In the morning proceed to visit the Swaminarayan Temple –carved out of pink Bulgarian stone & Italian marble alongside with its teak wood carved Haveli is a masterpiece by itself. The temple has the privilege of being in the Guinness book of world record & been visited by the Prince Charles from the Royal family. Later embark on a city tour of London visit Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London and the Buckingham Palace. Then we visit the London eye for a panoramic view of London city at the height of 135 meters. In the afternoon visit Madame Tussaud’s to see life-size wax figures of famous celebrities like Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachan, Sharukh Khan, Mahatma Gandhi, British Royal family and much more. Evening free for shopping or relax.

Day 3. LONDON–STONEHENGE–SALISBURY–PLYMOUTH

 

Depart for West Country as you cross the chalky terrain of Wiltshire and Stonehenge an intriguing mystery, to Salisbury- the “City of the Soaring Spire”. Then drive through Wessex to the heart of Dartmoor National Park and visit Widecombe-in-the-Moor, ghostly setting for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's and The Hound of the Baskervilles. See the Mayflower Steps later in Plymouth.

Day 4. PLYMOUTH–BATH–CARDIFF.

 

Drive through Glastonbury and discover it’s association with King Arthur to visit the elegant Georgian city of Bath, where the Romans built a magnificent Temple and Bathing Complex with natural hot water. Cross the Severn Bridge into Cardiff, the capital of Wales.
Overnight at Cardiff.

Day 5. CARDIFF–TRAMORE.

 

At Cardiff take an orientation drive to Castle, Cathays Park, Millennium Stadium, and the stately civic buildings. Drive across rich dairy farmland for a pause at the seaside resort of Tenby, on the way to the departure point for the ferry across St. George’s Channel to Ireland. Arrive at Rosslare in just under four hours. Arrive Tramore and check into hotel.

Day 6. TRAMORE–CORK–BLARNEY–KILLARNEY.

 

Drive through ” Dungarvan, Youghal, and Cork, the country’s second-largest city, on the way to Blarney, renowned for its Stone of Eloquence. Enjoy the tour to the castle and shop for Irish crafts and handmade crystal. Proceed to the resort town of Killarney. (OPTIONAL) Tonight, enjoy an outing to Tralee for dinner and a performance at Siamsa Tire, Ireland's National Folk Theatre.

Day 7. KILLARNEY.

 

Drive along the 100 mile coast known as the “Ring of Kerry”. Enjoy the seascapes, mountains dotted with brightly colored farmhouses, winding lanes bordered with subtropical vegetation, and spectacular views of the Lakes of Killarney. (OPTIONAL) At Killarney take a horse-drawn jaunting car along the national park lakeshore for pictures of Ross Castle.

Day 8. KILLARNEY–DINGLE PENINSULA–ADARE–LIMERICK–ENNIS.

 

Enjoy the breathtaking scenery on the Dingle Peninsula, where the 32-mile Slea Head drive affords magnificent vistas of the Atlantic Ocean. See the Blasket Islands. The inhabitants prior to their evacuation in 1953 lived a unique way of life. Stop for photos at Adare, a village known for its prize-winning thatched cottages and monastic ruins. Take an orientation drive that features King John’s Castle and the Treaty Stone of 1691. (OPTIONAL)Tonight, an optional banquet at Knappogue Castle.

Day 9. ENNIS–CLIFFS OF MOHER–GALWAY–DUBLIN.

 

Visit the spectacular 668-foot Cliffs of Moher and cross the limestone plateau of The Burren to the port city of Galway. The infamous Lynch Stone, commemorating the day Mayor James Lynch Fitzstephen hanged his son for murder is heard of at Galway. Continue across the mighty Shannon before arriving at Dublin and check into hotel.

Day 10. DUBLIN.

 

Start the day in the “Fair City” with an orientation drive through Eire’s capital, along statue-lined O’Connell Street. Tour the elegant Georgian squares and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Enjoy shopping and browsing in Dublin.

Day 11. DUBLIN–CHESTER-MANCHESTER.

 

Board the ferry for the Irish Sea crossing to Holyhead on the Welsh Isle of Anglesey. Take a walking tour of Chester the historic city on the River Dee to see the black and white half-timbered buildings, and the two-tiered shopping arcades called the “Rows”. Drive to Manchester “Capital of the North,“ the world's first industrialized city and a once thriving international center of textile manufacture and cotton spinning.

Day 12. MANCHESTER–GRASMERE–LAKE DISTRICT–GRETNA GREEN–GLASGOW

 

Drive through the Lake District, a region of majestic mountain scenery, lakes and lush valleys dotted with sheep. Visit Wordsworth’s Grasmere, then follow the shores of Lake Windermere. Drive further to Gretna Green. This place is famous for marriage of eloping couples without their parents consent. Travel through the history-steeped Lowland Hills to Glasgow, Scotland’s largest city.

Day 13. GLASGOW–FORT WILLIAM–INVERNESS–AVIEMORE.

 

Drive along the “Bonnie Banks” of Loch Lomond, through wild Rannoch Moor into the Highlands. Further into Glen Coe, where the MacDonald Clan was treacherously massacred by the Campbells in 1692, to Fort William beneath Ben Nevis. Enjoy the vistas of Caledonian Canal, Loch Lochy, and Loch Oich. Continue to Inverness driving along the banks of Loch Ness. Stop at the battlefield of Culloden Moor before arriving Aviemore

Day 14. AVIEMORE–PITLOCHRY–ST. ANDREWS–EDINBURGH.

 

Take a stop at the Victorian mountain resort of Pitlochry after a drive through the spectacular Highland scenery. Travel past Perth and Dundee before crossing the Tay Bridge to St. Andrews. The Ancient Golf Club here was founded in 1754 and has given us the rules of Golfing. Continue through Fife and over the mighty Forth Road Bridge to the Scottish capital, Edinburgh and check into hotel.

Day 15. EDINBURGH.

 

The 200-year-old “New Town” introduces you the scientists, inventors, and novelists. In the “Old Town,” drive up the narrow Royal Mile to Edinburgh Castle to admire Scotland’s Crown Jewels. Afternoon at leisure. (OPTIONAL) A traditional Scottish night out with Highland dancers, bagpipers, and, of course, the Ceremony of the Haggis.

Day 16. EDINBURGH–YORK-LEEDS.

 

At Jedburgh, take glimpses of the house of Mary, Queen of Scots, and then Melrose with its 12th-century abbey ruins. Drive to Northumberland National Park through the Cheviot Hills and past the English border. See a section of Hadrian’s Wall, the Roman coast-to-coast defense against marauding northern tribes. Head to York, England’s most medieval city with the great structure of York Minster. Take a walking tour through a maze of quaint streets including the narrow Shambles.

Day 17. LEEDS–STRATFORD-UPON-AVON–COVENTRY.

 

Drive across the mighty Sherwood Forest, the home of the legendary Robin Hood to the Midlands. Visit Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, Anne Hathaway’s Cottage and explore the town at your own pace. Visit Coventry whose center had to be rebuilt after the devastation of World War II bombings. Hear the tale of Lady Godiva and Peeping Tom before admiring the splendid modern cathedral.

Day 18. COVENTRY–OXFORD–LONDON.

 

Tour the lovely Cotswold Hills and Bladon where Sir Winston Churchill lies buried. Take a walking tour of Oxford where Britain’s elite receive their outstanding education. Later arrive London and check in to hotel.

Day 19 . LONDON AIRPORT.

 

Check out of hotel to be transferred to London Heathrow airport to catch your home bound flight.
