Burghley House (Stamford)

Southeast of Stamford lies Burghley House. It's one of the grandest houses of the Elizabethan Age, and is the setting for Lady Catherine De Bourgh's home Rosings in the film. It also played a starring role in the blockbuster movie The Da Vinci Code. In the summer months, you can tour the house and see the rooms used in the movie.
