DAY 01: AIRPORT – HOTEL.

Arrive at Heathrow airport. Our representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to our hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the surroundings.

DAY 02: LONDON SIGHTSEEING.

In the morning proceed to visit the Swaminarayan Temple –carved out of pink Bulgarian stone & Italian marble alongside with its teak wood carved Haveli is a masterpiece by itself. The temple has the privilege of being in the Guinness book of world record & been visited by the Prince Charles from the Royal family. Later embark on a city tour of London visit Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Tower of London and the Buckingham Palace. Then we visit the London eye for a panoramic view of London city at the height of 135 meters. In the afternoon visit Madame Tussaud’s to see life-size wax figures of famous celebrities like Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachan, Sharukh Khan, Mahatma Gandhi, British Royal family and much more. Evening free for shopping or relax.

DAY O3: LONDON – YORK.

Today we depart by coach for York. Enroute we visit Cambridge, with its historic collages, well manicured gardens, chapels, courtyards and dining halls. Later proceed to Stamford, a beautiful town developed by the Romans. Visit the dramatic Burghley House, one of England’s greatest Elizabethan houses. On arrival enjoy a walking tour of the city highlighting the ancient Walls, the Mansion House, the picturesque ‘Shambles’ and the magnificent Minster.

DAY 04 : YORK.

Explore York during the day. Visit the world class National Railway Museum and take a York City Boat Cruise. Have a tantalizing trip through time at the York Castle Museum. Lastly visit the York Dungeon and experience the witches being burned alive.

DAY 05 : YORK - EDINBURGH

In the morning depart for Scotland towards North where we cross the Hadrian’s Wall that was built by the Romans circa 120AD. The romantic ruins of JEDBURGH and MELROSE ABBEY where the heart of Robert the Bruce is buried. Later see Sir Walter Scott’s home, Abbotsford House, Kelso ( a market town) and Floors Castle on our way to Edinburgh. Floors castle is the largest inhabited castle owned by the Duke of Roxbrughe. Finally we arrive at Edinburgh and check into hotel.

DAY 06 :EDINBURGH.

Today explore the elegant and stimulating city of Edinburgh. Edinburgh castle is the National Symbol and perched on an extinct volcano. Visit Palace of Holyroodhouse. The Royal Mile, Princess Street and the Hopetoun House situated in the outskirts of Edinburgh. Hopetoun is a place of outstanding beauty which has Scotland’s finest stately homes at its heart. Return to Edinburgh. Rest of the day at leisure.

DAY 07 : EDINBURGH – LAKE DISTRICT.

In the morning depart for Lake District. Enroute visit the magnificent ruins of Linlithgow Palace set in a park next to a Loch. Drive further to Robert Burns Country via Gretna Green. This place is famous for marriage of eloping couples without their parents consent. Enter the Lake District, a region of majestic mountain scenery, lakes and lush valleys dotted with sheep, situated in the North West region. Visit Dove Cottage, home to William Wordsworth till 1808. Arrive Lake District and check in to hotel.

DAY 08 : LAKE DISTRICT – LONDON.

Today depart for London via Stratford-Upon-Avon immortalized by Shakespeare. We also cross an “Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty” – The Cotswold and Oxford, England’s oldest university dating back to the 11th century. Arrive London and check into hotel.

DAY 09 : LONDON – AIRPORT.

Enjoy the day at leisure and shopping. Later check out of the hotel and drive towards the airport for the flight back to Mumbai.
